U nedjelju je održana 31. godišnja dodjela Screen Actors Guild Awards, na kojoj su članovi SAG-AFTRA-e, njih oko 130.000, birali najbolja glumačka izvođenja u protekloj godini.
Svečanost se odvijala u Shrine Auditoriumu i Expo Hallu u Los Angelesu, uz Kristen Bell, zvijezdu filma Nobody Wants This, u ulozi voditeljke. Još prije početka ceremonije, očekivanja su bila velika, posebno za projekte Wicked i Shōgun, koji su dominirali sa po pet nominacija.
